Thanks Betty I was looking forward to so many blooms this year but there is always next year (sigh). If nothing else, I have learned to have patience from growing orchids

If you are a Cattleya grower, this is a very rewarding one. It comes in a soft yellow as well. I checked my journal for blooms and my plant has consistently bloomed for 6 or more weeks. I got mine from H & R as it is pretty hard to get one in Canada. But in the U.S. you likely have a few options.

Joseia, Glad it bloomed before you dumped it! I would never dump this one Can we see a picture of your blooms?
Yes, I'm going to take pictures of it this week, you will see that mine has more lavender than blue and a pinkish tinge to all the parts of the flowers that are normally white.

Damn I miss mine... 28 bulbs, seven growths, and last flowering gave some 55 flowers.
These seem very hard to come by in Europe.
My friend in Romania managed to find one. I could ask her if she knows where to get one within Europe for you if you like.
