Wild looking lip! Matches very well with the petal color. Thanks for sharing this one Gin. I really like it!

Ooooo, Gin! That reminds me of Epi pseudoepidendrum, which is a favorite of mine!
Your 'chids are always so beautiful!

Gee, thanks for spoiling the surprise, Gin!!! Just kidding. I bought this plant back in November from Lowe's. It was in one of those suffocating-looking bags for $9.99 I think. It now has two buds probably a few weeks from opening. Can't wait. Gotta agree with you: it seems to be an easy grower.

Neat Gin!
I'm going to show your picture to my little plant and tell it that it should be doing something for me

I got mine in the same bin, about 6 months ago. How tall did it have to get before it bloomed?

Don't you just love the color contrast Gin? It looks just like a pseudoepidendrum on steroids! I am sure you already know Gin that pseudoepidendrum will usually rebloom on the old inflorescences and it often passes this on to it's progeny. My Rene Marques is a way off from being blooming size so I don't know if this might rebloom on the old inflorescence or not. Great growing Gin!
