Extremely beautiful. I have the tenebrosa which has a new growth that is quite big, so I hope I'll see a sheath soon.
My purpurata striata is filling the sheath right now. With backlight you can see the bud.

I just cut the sheath on my purpurata. I hope I did well, though now I'm afraid some monster could eat the buds.
