Clty Chantilly Lace 'Twinkle' HCC/AOS
My Chantilly Lace is in bloom again. It blooms twice a year. I got this as a division from a friend on Orchid Board here less than 2 years ago and this is its 4th bloom since I got it. It is a vigorous grower. I just love the markings on the petals. It has 5 blooms and 2 buds, soon to open. The most I have gotten on 1 spike.

Beautiful! Every time I see this I am reminded of alstroemeria, which is a good thing because it's one of my favorite flowers. I think I'm going to have to track one of these down.

Wow, that's a different one. What is in it? Sure does look like a cross of some sort.

Caulocattleya Chantilly Lace is a cross of C. El Dorado Splash (a medium size usually splash petal bifoliate Catt hybrid with mostly C. walkeriana, C. loddigesii and C. intermedia ancestry) with Caularthron (Diacrium) bicornutum (a species with mostly white flower with some spotting on the lip and lateral sepals).
And this is a very nice blooming of the cross. Thanks for posting.

Thanks everyone for looking. The Caularthron bicornutum (what a name!) gives it the rather different look for a Cattleya.
I do recommend having one as it is a vigorous grower and bloomer.
