I have a ton of new growths, like maybe 5-8 that haven't bloomed yet, and although they seem to be new, I'm concerned they're not blooming. Is it normal for BCs to bloom at regular times as opposed to just as one stalk decides it is ready? Like I can see about 4 or 5 sheaths barely started, but I have had very large cattleyas before that never bloomed ;( I remember something about nodosa being seasonal in the back of my head? But not sure... Do you think it's ready for a larger pot (or wait till it's done blooming)? It's almost totally locked all of the hydroton solid... like no loose pebbles at all, it gobbles all the water I can throw at it, it seems.
