Default Cattleya luteola

Well, it finally happened! This is the first orchid to bloom under my care (though I've only had it for three weeks and the buds only appeared April 1st). So I'm not really going to count this one I got it in a society raffle and thought it looked like the buds had blasted because they were dried and brown, but here it is! No scent as of yet, but it only just opened today. I hope you enjoy!

I love it too. The yellow really glows in the sunlight. I'll pass the compliments along to it. Maybe it'll take off and grow like crazy.

Good yellow color. It looks like you have a nice clone there.

Thank you, everyone! Yes, the color is fantastic. So far it is not fragrant, but I can't complain since it's so colorful.

Very nice! I wouldn't hold my breath on this one being fragrant though.
