C. lueddemanniana 'Arthur Chadwick' x B. Aristrocrat 'Snowy Owl'
So this morning I am inspecting and watering when out of NOWHERE I am attacked by a MASSIVE colony of little black ants that have taken up residence in my Trigonidium egertonianum. discovered when I was watering and a few hundred cam out of the bottom of the pot. After a screaming fit and ripping the plant into threes, washing all the moss off and spraying the heck out of the plants, the windowsill and making my husband crazy, I found this little surprise, so a happy ending.

Yes, my goodness. Quite the adventure you had there. I'm glad it ended with a beautiful blooming orchid. Considering the parentage, I'm assuming this must have a lovely fragrance. Is that so?

No it doesn't have a fragrance, but it has such a slight pink blush to it, which changes depending on the angle you look at it.

Nice! Try smelling it at night when the room has been dark for 15 minutes or so.
