Yes, it is one of the few lueddemannia coeruleas that have deep violet colours that extend all the way to the outside of the lip, and an egg yolk yellow in the throat.

Foliar feeding isn't suppose to work with Orchids. They have fewer stomata and most are on the underside of the leaves.

Despite that fact which you are correct scientifically, many expert growers swear up and down foliar feeds work. I myself use both foliar and medium feeds, just in case!
