Anacheilium venezuelanum
A shy bloomer in our greenhouses. I can't remember that I've ever seen flowers before. Flowers hardly exceed 2 centimeters.

Had to wait until the sun came out. On a sunny morning it emits a lovely fragrance, that reminds me of violets.

Very nice. I was googling around, and you are right, this seems to be very uncommon in cultivation. Thank you for sharing. Withner & Harding book says pseudobublbs of 6-7cm and leaves of 7-13cm. Is it the approximate size?

Yes, Naoki, the size fits. The plant is a bit smaller than fragrans and aemula. It has been distributed over years by a German vendor, but hobbyists were complaining in German forums that it never flowers.
