Today very few professional German nurseries produce registered hybrids. This one comes from Wichmann in Celle.
From the flowering season and flower aspect I could have sworn that G. percivaliana was involved, but I was wrong. It is Bob Betts x Elinor. Very pleasing strong scented.

Very nice form.

Is the lack of new German made hybrids due to the expenses in doing so?
