This is kind of a double posting as I've been reporting it's progress in the cattleya forum as well, I hope you'll all forgive me but I'm just so darn proud I cant help myself This is my SLC Memoria Alvin Beggman 'poem'. I got it this past spring from Seattle Orchid and it had at least 20 p bulbs. I lost the majority to brown rot before I got up the courage to do some serious surgery. It rewarded me with 2 new growths, the second of which has given me this delightful little bloom. It's not much bigger than a quarter.
