This is such a fantastic color in person, I'm not sure it's entirely conveyed in pictures (vibrantly fuchsia!). Hybrid from Sunset Valley Orchids.

My gosh, what an incredible color! Very impressive and long "kennel name," but what do you call her every day? LOL

I have "named" all my orchids, years ago, before I had any idea of the complexity of actual orchid names. Since all but one of mine is actually a NOID, it doesn't matter, of course. The one I do have a full name for, however, is the one that has never yet bloomed. Wonder if there's a connection somehow.

I haven't heard of a specific name yet, but I'm sure it's been bloomed before - my growing situation is not going to compete with people who have greenhouses and live in sunnier climates!
