Thanks! I can see why they wouldn't be good for my plants here in Wyoming, but they look so nice and clean. Oh well.. Just repotted my BLC and found some rotted roots, even though the pot and medium drain very well. Just need to water it less, that's all.

My favorite is Kuwale Gem 'Shin Shin'
Just gorgeous!!!

It is also my very first cattleya I bought years ago.
I was captivated by the flower photo and bought one in bud.
Well, the bud was just sitting there forever and I was quite impatient and ended up tossing the plants.
I don't see it offered anymore.

Yes indeed! I gave up a long time thinking about "favorites." I love them all. Didn't used to care for the green flowers... I mean, green? But I've seen so many here that are simply beautiful, so I'm not as picky as I used to be.

Really awesome display. It's strange your baskets don't have hangers. You use them like pots, huh?
Btw, did you go to the Tamiami Orchid Festival this past weekend?

I do use baskets like pots. I grow outdoors and it rains so much in South Florida that I need the orchids to dry quickly. I didn't get to Tamiami but I'm going to the Fort Lauderdale Show this weekend. the Boca Raton Show in February and the Redlands show in May. There's no shortage of orchid shows down here.
