BLC. Maikai 'Mayumi' first bloom

First time blooming. Received this orchid about 2 years ago from a fellow OB member and re-potted to S/H using an orange juice container and lava rocks that I smashed into smaller pieces with a hammer. Grew like a weed and finally rewarded me with blooms on just about every bulb. Blooms started a week before Christmas and first ones just expired. New ones have just opened yesterday. This photo is from beginning of January.

Wow !!! I would love to have gotten a portion of that Cattleya !!! Gorgeous color 😁
