Check to roots! Looks like the plant simply isn't getting enough water, more likely due to rot issues than underwatering.

It is vaguely like mesophyll collapse, but that occurs upon exposure to extremely cold temperatures.

I agree with Ray that the plant looks dry. All the leaves look a tad wrinkled. How dry is it getting between watering? Catts like to get dry or close, but not stay dry.

The one leaf in the center of the picture looks like it has mesophyll cell collapse which can be caused by several things, including cold water on the leaves. It's not a disease and won't spread to the rest of the plant. It's hard to judge the overall hydration of the plant with only a few leaves in the picture. One leaf does look dehydrated but if the newer leaves on the orchid don't show that wrinkled look, it may not be a problem.

That's true. If the leaves in the picture are all older ones, you may have some more plump newer ones. The old ones don't always recover to their full plumpness.

will take a pic of the whole plant,it is just the older leaves that look like that, but there arent that many leaves to begin with so i cant afford to be losing any.the plant was probably the 1 casualty of the holidays,i suppose i should be greatful its still alive theres still hope, watered it yesterday and added a chopstick for future testing
