Wow, that is a pretty one! I have noticed that, nearly always, the orchids look much better when one sees them 'live' instead of in pictures. I guess that is why we need to collect them for ourselves instead of just buying a calendar or viewing them online. Thanks for sharing that beautiful bloom!

Thanks Leafmite. Sometimes a camera just can't do them justice. It's a good excuse for all the orchids we accumulate.

This is one of the best magenta ever! very big, nice color and shape, very fragrant!
I miss mine.

I got rid of all the big cattleyas in late 2013, only to buy some more. then toss again, and then I kept just one. BLC Williette Wong 'The Best'.

Thanks. This is a great standard Catt. So far it is the largest bloom I have had in my collection. And the plant is happy with a crazy amount of beautiful roots. I'm lucky that I can usually find space for a few larger ones.
