Cattleya walkeriana
This is a plant that I obtained several years ago from H&R Nurseries in Waimanalo, Hawaii. The plant is a cross between C. walkeriana var. tipo and C. walkeriana 'Puanani'. The flowers are very fragrant and have a horizontal natural spread of 11 centimeters. The plant is in a 4-inch clay pot that was placed in a wood basket. The plant has since overgrown the clay pot and is now firmly attached to the wood basket. The clay pot is still in tact in the basket with New Zealand Sphagnum Moss as the media.

Lovely, absolutely lovely .... walkeriana has been on my species wish list for a long while now and I am still determined to source one, one day.
Very different to get species here in Africa.
Thank you for sharing.

yes exceptionally beautiful. I've lost one and a half this winter. I hate it. They're great plants.
