It's very pretty, hopefully next time it will have more blooms on it. I love this color.

Oscar you are correct. One flower spike per new growth for Cattleyas. Now whether that spike produces multiple flowers or not remains to be seen. You have a lovely Cattleya.

Why are you going to divide this one? I would leave it for a while. I will also say perhaps you need to up your watering your pseudo bulbs look a bit shriveled to me. I know I don't sometimes water enough and I know it costs me more blooms.

not planning on dividing it yet, just for future reference.the plant was planted in i'm assuming coco fibre, for the size of the plant the root ball was extremely small.after the first flowering i repotted into its current pot but i could not seperate root from potting medium its like they were one.as i'm prone to overwatering i'v opted to plant in just stone.the original medium is still there i just filled with stone all around.i'm using the chop stick method of testing for wetness and whatever that medium is it stays wet for a while.there is a lot of new root growth growing into the stone which i spritz regularly trying not to wet to much the origanl root ball.i use the leaves as a barometer of drying and they seem all in good health no shrivelling.
