As promised here are the blooms of the C. jenmanii 'Charlie' I got from OrchidsCanada.com... It's a semi alba with venosa markings on petals...





I take no credit for the blooms as the plant was sheathed with mitten buds when I bought it.

Lovely specimen of jenmanii, I think you have a very good clone there, because I tend to find jenmanii a little weak in substance and with floppy petals.
Your flower is well presented, thank you for sharing.

Thanks all for your kind words. This clone is a division the mother plant collected more that 15 years ago... The shape is nice because the dorsal sepal holds up straight. Substance is good enough to prevent the petals from drooping. Texture is slightly glistening too. I love it as much as you all

I just found out that this jenmanii is forma flamea from a cattleya specialist in CA. Apparently quite rare. The original owner is thrilled (as I am)!
