Dimeranda stenopetala
Although the flower on this plant looks like a miniature Cattleya, the plant growth looks like a Dendrobium. Dimeranda is listed in the Cattleya family. The small flower is very flat. It measures 1-1/2 inch across horizontally. The plant is currently growing in a 2-inch clay pot with New Zealand Sphagnum Moss as the media. Based on past blooms, the flower will last for for more than a month. I obtained this plant a couple of years ago from a nursery on Maui.
