I think it is the correct ID, but I just wanted to get confirmation from experts here. I read about the difference between this species and C. loddigesii, but it is a bit confusing when I look around some photos of these two species (lots of variation within the species).
Since it was imported from Floralia, Brazil, this fall (so I don't take the credit of flowering it), it seems to be flowering in the Southern hemisphere time.

I think the easiest way to distinguish these two species is the midlobe of the lip. This species has the pronounced ridge in the middle of the lip (the yellowish region in the photo below). C. loddigesii doesn't have this ridge. Additionally, the petals and sepals are generally narrower than C. loddigesii. Flowers are generally smaller and deeper color than C. loddigesii. Different time of flowering. Also is there difference in fragrance (no fragrance with mine)?
