What a beauty! I think I'll be looking for this one at the WOC in a couple weeks. How great to have 3 colors in one plant. What ever you're feeding it you are doing it right. I'm waiting for my little Pot Sweet Sugar to fully bloom, it's half open today with another spike coming. I can't wait.

It is fun as the plant matures, and spikes are growing at different times; various shades of flowers can be present at the same time. A wonderful series of photos, thanks for sharing.

Actually I am not fertilizing very often(usually because I forget to do so), maybe once every 2 months. I do water with rain mixed with RO ( Sam's Choice drinking water that I dont finish at work so I put it to good use), other than watering I do nothing special.

I... MUST... have one.

Are there any other famous hybrids that have this characteristic?

That's a massive store, pity we don't have as much selection in our local nurseries... i did find a "Bl. Yellow Bird (B. nodosa x Bl. Richard Mueller)" listed here so i'll get that and maybe breed it with something that has a fuller flower and THEN i'll finally have it mwahaha.
