ah crap, I think I'm addicted
I bought a brassavola nodosa in September and last week decided to buy a couple more cattleya orchids and I got my Blc. Cherry suisse 'kauai' and a Pot. Memoria Irene feil 'ruby red' from kawamoto orchids.
Now once again I bought another from them. Blc. Fringe benefits 'Rochelle' and I'm already planning the next purchase. Lol.
My wife is going to kill me.
What do you recommend I get?
PS. I have a thread started on the cherry suisse and I'll pay some pictures of the other two later. The cherry suisse is the only one in bloom right now and the ruby red is growing 4 new p. bulbs. I'm not sure how the fringe benefits is as I have yet to receive it tomorrow.

Yep, you're hooked, you could always tell your wife you got orchidheimer. Some how new orchids always end in your greenhouse without you remembering buying them..... 😇

Buy her a plant and include her in your hobby. That's what I did with my husband. I got him his own orchid. He fusses over it and now understands what a big deal it is to me when I have one bloom.
It could be fun for the two of you to share a hobby.

Plants help to clean toxins from the air.

I'm going to give that a try. I will get my husband an orchid. He will probably let it die.

for every 4 plants buy her a pair of shoes. !
i am about to hit 800 species , and about 400 different ones. to the point that i had to double my greenhouse space, trust me ,the shoe thing always work likes a charm.
the good thing is when you have so many, you can always smuggle one in without her noticing anything at that point it is 10 plants for 1 pair of shoes. you see the more you have the cheaper it becomes?
the other option is to let her choose, 1 , spend money with plants and stay at home. or 2 , spend money with your friends in a bar, that is usually filled (the important part) with tons of woman looking to get laid.
if anyone is a female and wants to get away with orchids just replace woman by men to the sentence above. hahahaha
(sorry ladies) , just helping out our new addicted orchid friend. here

I collect plants in general. When I was a teenager/college student, I loved to travel and, yes, I always enjoyed the local flora. So, now, I tell my husband that instead of spending all the money traveling to see the plants, I am just saving him money and buying the plants. I even point out how expensive the tickets to the conservatory are for good measure. So, I am saving my hubby money by purchasing plants!
