A little late Laelia purpurata var. anelata 'Santa Adélia'
I hadn't noticed this one kinda hidden in a corner of the grh and it was a pleasant surprise seeing it in full bloom at this time when all the other L. purpuratas have done the homework already! This is a piece of an old clone that once belonged to the late Walter Fillipetti, dear friend and one of the most skilled purpurata growers ever seen in my region. This plant is also known here as variety argolão 'De Santa Adélia', but I think that argolão and anelata are the same variety as is stated in the excellent monographic paper on L. purpurata and its varieties written by J. Krackowitzer.
