Blc. Copper Queen
This is Blc. Copper Queen (Toshie Akoi X Bl. Richard Mueller). Wow! This really has the look and feel of a "wild" plant, or so my aesthetic sense screams out to me. I picked it up half dead with a half dozen super dried out Catts in bags at Lowes. It is the first to bloom, and has always been the healthiest of my Lowes Bag Babies. It is just one flower, but I think it is really wonderful! Very peachy/ apricoty. The throat is amazing. No scent, unfortunately. I hope it grows much bigger and gives me a whole lot more next year.

I also have this one blooming now, purchased last year
as a Lowes bag baby. Over the course of the week, it lost
it's pinkish coloring and is mostly golden now. No fragrance on mine either.

Have you checked for fragrance after the lights are out? My Richard Mueller crosses are nodosa-fragrant at night. It's lovely!

Sadly, it is not fragrant at night either. I would love to get some more of these nodosa cross types.

There's such a great sense of accomplishment in getting a half-dead bag baby to recup and come to life like that! Congrats - she's lovely!
