Same here. Killed two already, I found it these Liu's Joyance plant are very easy to get rot easily. Always start with the new growth, rotting from the base and bulb turning yellow and brown. Same light, same watering and have no problem with other Cattleya ...

Yes, the yellow/red combination is gorgeous. I bought one last year as NBS; it looks like the latest growth has a sheath. Just hope I do not have to wait 12 months for flowers.
