Black spots on Cattleya
What are these black spots on this cattleya. Th rt of the plant looks healthy but the new growth had these black spots.

It looks perfectly fine. I have a Cattleya aclandiae and that is considered normal for them.

It is also normal on Cattleya lueddemanniana and some Cattleya trianae.

When I bought my C. lueddemanniana the vendor (Equagenera) told me all the new growths will get pigment spots which will go away when it has matured. Mine has always done that.

They don't look like disease spots to me at all.
Those are natural.

Maybe you supply your orchid more Nitrogen (N2), you must decrease N2 and supply Kali (K) and photpho (P), example 6-30-30 or 6-50-30
