Easy to grow and bloom species from Mexico. The blooms appear at the end of a three-foot spike, so they would probably make a good cat toy.

Just what Stanley, my naughty cat would love! I do have a Laelia ancept in spike which will prove interesting when I want to bring it into the house to enjoy!

Beautiful! I like the two-tone lip, mine and the couple of other gouldiana I've seen in person were all concolor pink, not that that's a bad thing of course...

Lovely ... I think you have yourself quite a good clone there Steve, the flowers are open and full.
I find some of the gouldiana we have here tend to have poor shape ... too cupped. I think they are from old stock. Well done, keep it going.
