Wonder how it would fair in judging? The prevailing preference for many catts seems to be petals which are full and a more open lip. Personally, I like the sharper star-shape ones like this have.

Thanks for sharing! It's quite a coincidence because just the other day I was wondering why I hadn't seen any L. lundii crosses and what they might look like. Porter's cross looks really great! Hopefully he'll make some more with lundii.

Paul, based on what I see at judged orchid shows, this plant would have to be covered in blooms to gain any notice. LOL!

Epiphyte78, Porters Orchids will be at the Michiana Orchid Show this weekend, so I'll ask Bill Porter if he has any more of these plants.

BTW, the bloom is still as brilliant and now even more fragrant that it was when I first posted.

I did talk to Bill Porter of Porters Orchids. He does have several of these plants available. He did not bring any to the show as they were not in bloom. You can email him through the website and ask for the plant.

It is a charming plant.
