Cattleya jenmanii alba
This one bloomed a month early this year. Probably due the the cold snap a few weeks ago. The fragrance is almost overpowering.

Steve, I got it from Harry at H&R about 4 years ago. How time flies... After he posted one out of a cross between two colored jenmaniis I promptly contacted him and was able to get one. It wasn't cheap but well worth it.

All I can say, is good luck on your quest. It took me several years to find one that would not break the bank getting it.
Maybe I should concider selfing it one of these years...

That is a beauty! Thanks for sharing it!
I like growing seedlings as you can get a really good orchid cheaper than you would if it was blooming size. That is how I grow most of my orchids.

I know what you mean. This one was almost blooming size when I got it. Its sibling was excellant that bloom out earlier. Since albas are so hard to find its was not cheap, but I did not have to give and arm and a leg either.
