Default Cattleya Malworth Sunset

Bought this one last year and it has 2 new growths. 1 has 2 flowers on it and the other has a small sheath but as yet no sign of any buds.

Ohhhhh that's one nicely shaped cat! The lip is certainly intriguing!

Thanks Jack. It is actually a nice dusky colour not the pink that shows up in the photo.

Nice flower but name interesting. Rlc. Malworth Sunset. Parents are Rlc. Waikiki Sunset x Rlc. Malworth. ( Rlc = Blc )
Find it very hard to see a flower like this appearing, not from what I've seen anyway.

Hmmm yes I see what you mean. Bought it off a reputable Uk dealer at a show. There is a BLC Malworth Sunset Orchidglade but that is an orangey/yellow see :

Here is a photo with flash but it doesnt really bring out the yellow throat or the unusual dusky purple colour of the flower with my camera it just comes out kind of pink.
