Rhynchodenia Magic Wand
Rhynchodenia Magic Wand - imported last year from Thailand, this is first blooming, one spike was forming in may but aborted. Very nice color. Regular Vanda care.

You certainly don't see a Rhynchodenia every day. Looks like this is the only one registered. Thanks for posting. Nice color. The flower form is better than I might have expected.

Many thanks, I must say it looks much better than on the pics from the seller, I am very happy with the flower form, and the color is very nice.

Beautifully grown, Tommy!
At first I thought it was a semi-terette Vanda, but it is the characteristics of the Seidenfadenia mitrata I see on both the leaves and the lip.
Rhynchodenia Magic Wand = Rhynchostylis coelestis x Seidenfadenia mitrata

Many thanks Bud, and for the info too, I do have also Seidenfadenia that bloomed few months ago, I can definitely see similarities, the blooms on this one are much bigger and more vivid color, really lovely plant, can't be happier!
