Default Catt leaf v-shaped...

I got this blc Susan Harry a few weeks ago. It's growing new roots like crazy and has a couple new growths making good progress. One leaf however is v-shaped and not fully "opened" like the others. This leaf came with a sheath growing from it but it turned black and I removed it. Just wondering if the leaf will open up as it matures? I don't know much about catts other than they're gorgeous and I'm excited to be growing them so any info that more experienced members can offer will be GREATLY appreciated

They should open all the way as the psuedobulb ages.
However I find that when I mess up their culture, the leaf might not unfurl.

I agree with Ordphien. It was likely the newest growth if it had a recent sheath on it so still may be growing and expanding. And change of culture or potting media can mess them up till they adapt.
