Brassavola Jiminy Cricket 'Superbug' HCC/AOS
This is a primary hybrid between nodosa and digbyana.
Flowers are very big ( 7 inch across) and wonderfully fragrant at night.

Very nice one! I have a couple of these (no clonal names or awards listed on tags, though) and really like them.

Wonderful. One of those hybrids that had to be made, and looks just the way you would want it to look. I'll let Brassavola pass, but it is correctly Jimminey Cricket. For some reason it is not the same as the character in the Disney version of Pinocchio. Maybe Disney wanted royalties to use the name.

It is possible that there are trade mark protection, even in cases as remote as this. For naming after a person, I believe that you need the individuals permission.
And, it is quite possible that the registrant misspelled (possibly intentionally).
