Brassavola George Tyler
Got this years ago as a seedling from Oak Hill, now a large specimen, Outdoors here in Los Angeles, grows like a weed. Many more flowers still in bud stage, should flower for the next few months, night time citrus fragrance.

That's an amazing plant. These "other' Brassavolas tend to be a bit neglected with that diva nodosa hogging the spotlight all the time.

I keep coming back for another look, and another, and another. Brassavolas (all of them!) are my favs...and this one is spectacular.
It goes to the TOP of my 'must have' list.

From November on I rearly water and if I do it is because we have not had any rain for awhile. From March onward regular to daily watering's as heat and days get longer, weekly fertilizer.
I grow this under 50% shade cloth stretched tight. It hangs close to shade cloth, they like light.
Don't over water, they do like to dry out.
Give strong light, notice my plant has leaves that have that purple color, that is a good thing. Green leaves for me means little to no flowers.
Hope that helps
