Bronze colored L. tenebrosa
I picked this up at an orchid sale in San Diego in 2011. The plant was small, yellowed, and very poorly cared for back then. I divided it, did what I could to nurse it back to full health, and finally this June both divisions sent out health spikes of flowers, one with two flowers, the other with three. I wasn't sure what to expect, I had no information other than the plant was a L. tenebrosa. The blooms were amazing, a deep bronzey color with a veined lavender lip. I'm quite happy with it. Grows happily outside on the patio here.
