Default Cattleya Triumphans

A cross between aurea and rex. I was a little disappointed that the petals weren't more yellow, but the lip makes up for it! Sweetly fragrant in the morning. From Orchid Trail.

Gorgeous! This is one you hardly ever see. C. rex is the only cattleya I own...well, about 20 little seedlings!

Very pretty, how long did it take to bloom?

Thanks for the comments!

Plumania - I bought it in sheath, so it was ready to bloom when I got it.

So many of these are in bloom right now, but I think this one might have the best shape that I've seen. Looks great!

Nice to see this primary hybrid still around in collections and flowering. Thanks for sharing.
