The Bloom
Thank you! The flower opened this morning.
I said overgrown because that was how they described it but I'm rather happy with it, and it smells very nice.

Nice job and so lovely. I also have ordered from Jewell. Plants arrive healthy but a bit too young for me and impatience sets in-not the plants fault!

Thank you!
I can understand that, that's why I always make a point to ask. I have a couple I got from them that are several years out cuz I felt like taking a chance and am interested in them, but mostly I don't like to go too much younger than NBS. Lucky me this plant was in bud, I just opened it yesterday!! And it opened today!!! Perfect.

In bloom again!
This bud kind of jumped up and surprised me around the end of August/beginning September. It opened around the 20th and is mostly gone now (though present). So it didn't last but a couple of weeks but it was a great surprise considering the first bloom finished in July. Not sure that the pics really show it but this bloom did seem a bit more white around the edges to me than the first one. It has a nice rose-like fragrance.
PS. I'm not sure if this bloom should last longer or if this is typical. The first one I pollinated so it obviously wilted sooner.

Oh and this bloom wasn't as flat as the first one.
