this is from the nayarit zone in mexico. true albas are extremely rare to see. most that are considered albas outthere has a faint pink or a line in the lip. (more semi alba) this one is completely white, no faint color , no lines nothing. just pure crystalline white.
nayarit adenocaulas are also known to have smaller flowers , with far darker colors than those of the normal type, growth habit is also far more convenient ( way smaller) than the other ones that can have pbulbs as big as a large pear. some people think that this group needs revision. other than size and coloration , the plant is just a regular adenocaula with a broader lip.
this is a plant that came from salvador Garcia collection in mexico city, (he has one of the very best mexican orchid collection in the country. )
