laelia purpurata var 'carnea'
3 year old plant 1st time blooms and a nice new growth. his brother flamea is going to bloom soon too. I had to cut the sheath open to save the buds. glad to have 3 nice flowers. not perfect but very nice.

it likes the hot greenhouse after cold hard winter.
I got these plants from clown alley orchids . he had a wide variety of these in many colors at one time. I cant honestly say where they originated from before that.
thnks you all I think they may be moving again soon into a new home  . these plants have more miles on them than most ppl their age.
