congrats. Mine has also been hanging around doing nothing for years too - but I see yours is flowering in Winter. Maybe I will be lucky later this year....

So pretty! I love the deep, deep color of it. I wonder if I could find one in bloom or bud in this color... so vibrant.

Can I ask how large the whole plant is?

I bought this one mounted from a supplier I know fairly well (family friend of sorts). All in all I'd say this is my best catteleya, condition wise, as I dont struggle with it, ie. Bugs and rotting ect.
It's a trooper it is....

#RANDOMGEMINI - the mount is a +/- 20cm long piece of Bottle brush (callistemon) branch, about as thick as a regular wrist.. plant height I' m guessing would be somewhere between 10 and 15cm.

Over all, I really like this one, the colour is great, and this morning I noticed it has a scent aswell, can't tell for sure ( FLU season has started), but will go double check in the next day or two....

It is supposed to be fragrant.

This is the perfect size for my collection! I think I need this one too. I have the semi-alba variety, but I didn't know the color was so gorgeous.

Thanks for sharing your photos!

Gorgeous! Mine is still hanging around - but it has a new lead. Fingers crossed.
