And I'm really happy to hear how you're growing this one because I just picked one up a month or so ago at our spring show and while I couldn't resist...I wondered about the temps and whether or not it would survive my summer temps. Good to know yours is doing well under intermediate conditions.

Beautiful - and a species I have wanted to grow. I've haven't tried in part because I read it was a cool grower and most cool growers melt away quickly here, but mostly because I never see it offered.
Your comments about your growing conditions give me hope - I'll resume my search for sources in the U.S.!

A favorite of mine too. However, when I first saw it (ca. 1970), it was an Epidendrum, and I believe it was called something else inbetween.
