Constantia cipoensis
Had this sucker for years. Never bloomed once. Can't figure out why. Has done ok. Keeps multiplying. Can't complain too much. Would like to see flowers though.
This pic doesn't show it well, but the leaves have white striations. They're really cool looking even when they're not in bloom, which is why I keep it around.

This species grows slooooww. You're right, it's far more adept at putting out roots - which is good, because it establishes the plant. If it doesn't establish itself well, it is a bad sign. They don't generally recover well from root damage or having a poor root system.
It only puts out 1 or 2 new pseudobulbs per mature new pseudobulb.
I put this guy through the wringer. There were many times when it got neglected, and, man, this thing never quit on me. That's why you see so many small pseudobulbs. Awesome, (the plant's hardiness, not the small pseudobulbs because of my neglect ).
You got a pic of your Constantia microscopica?

Wow!
The microscopica are tiny!
I'll probably pick one up sometime later. Maybe even the rupestris too.
Nice cipoensis, btw.
They're all really cool. Constantia are pretty fun to grow, imo. Just wish I can get mine to bloom.

Looks good you guys! I got my cipoensis in mid February and it has been steadily putting out new roots. If/when it blooms, I'll let y'all know!
