The LC is lovely. L. anceps does have a tempermental spikes. I heard they need to be washed daily with mild soap to clean the stickiness off the spike to allow the blooms to come forth...I guess in the wild the nightly dews would do the same thing.

Thanks for the tip Todd. I peeled back the first sheath and from there just snipped off the very tips as it grew and that seemed to do the trick. I'll try washing them next time.
