Cattleya Prada Green in bloom
This is such a beauty for me.
I loved the name and I like green flowers, so I bought one weeks ago. There were originally two buds, but one blasted.
As the bud grew larger and larger, I was quite surprised as the plant is very small.
It opened to be quite large flower reaching 5in across.
The large frilly lip reminds me of Port of Paradise.
It has a weak but nice sweet citrusy fragrance in the late afternoon (odd time for cattleya I think).

Fantastic bloom. And not really an odd time for the fragrance to appear, as Rhyncholaelia digbyana also begins to emit its scent in the late afternoon. Congrats on your beautiful flower.

Well, your remind me of the creamy-Lime waffler cake taste.. This bloom is beautiful and correspond well with it's ''lime-light'' scent.
Need sunshine and optimal amount of water.

Oh, good to know!
Yes, it definitely has the influence of digbyana in the frilly lip.
