Default Bc Maikai

Just a few days ago I was looking at my orchids and yes I was talking to them and looking at Bc Maikai saying "I wish you would bloom" 18 months shelf life without a bloom, I turned the pot around to change lighting direction and my wish came true. What a lovely fragrance.

I was very please of it's outcome, next year though many more blooms. Guess if I talk enough to it it will show me a few more blooms next blooming season.

It's the strangest though it is fragrant but it seems like it's aroma is every other day, not sure I understand that one, but when it's fragrant it feels the room.

Thanks for looking ..

Wow, that is gorgeous! I have two types of Maikai's and neither shows signs of blossoms any time soon. What language are you talking to them in? I talk to mine too. Maybe it's that impatient tone in my voice!
Beautiful!! kiki-do

After 18 months, it's not the most patient voice I must say. I was impressed with the bloom on the brightest side of the plant shelf, very bright light. Never saw it even coming.

This plant can quickly grow into a nice specimen. I just repotted my plant for the first time since I bought it almost ten years ago. It was growing in a six inch pot of tree fern. The plant had completely filled the pot and covered the sides. A little dividing was necessary which I did and potted it in a 10 inch pot with tree fern. It is so much happier now and has put on a great show. The entire plant is covered with flowers. I don't have a camera to take pictures but I expect that will change by Wed. morning.
