NOID Laelia Hybrid
Had for some years, tag long lost. Very hard to capture the true colour of this one, is actually a shade darker. Very reflective surface, nice fragrance.

A stunning and distinctive flower. I don't think there's any Laelia in this hybrid though. I'm pretty sure you have Cattlianthe (or Cattleya if you prefer) Chongkolnee. The first offspring of Ctt. Chocolate Drop registered in 1973.
Ctt. Chongkolnee
= Gur. bowringiana x Ctt. Chocolate Drop
= Gur. bowringiana x (C. guttata x Gur. aurantiaca)
The plant and flower show the obvious influence of Gur. bowringiana, and Chocolate Drop often passes on that glossy flower and color saturation to the next generation. Long distance hybrid identifications are always risky, and I'm sure there are some similar hybrids that can't be ruled out, but I think I'm close on this one. There doesn't seem to be any trace of Laelia (by any definition) in it at least.
