Lc. Dakao 'Flammea Enami' BM/TOGA
I am really pleased with the first flowering of this gorgeous little cattleya! Not only are the flowers a good size for such a little plant, but they've held their form for several weeks already. And the strong sweet/lemony scent is icing on the cake!
Parents are: Flirtatious Okami x C. walkeriana. In the last photo you can see it seems to have bloomed like walkeriana, on a dedicated growth. Enjoy!

It's lovely! I have this one also, from Cloud's. It bloomed last year but is just putting on new growths this year so far. Oddly enough mine bloomed from a regular pseudo bulb last time. But I have another with a C. walkeriana parent and it blooms both ways so I will see what it does this summer! This is a delightful compact or miniature plant.

Yep, this is one of Cloud's too - don't you just love them?! Other pictures of this plant I've seen seem to show it blooming from a regular pseudobulb as well - I'm wondering if this is just a first bloom thing? Guess I'll have to wait and see...

Mine was a first bloom last summer and it was from a normal growth! I think they just do either when walkeriana is involved. Or maybe it depends on the season as to how they bloom. Mine was blooming more in mid to late summer.
