This year's last Cattleya Hardyana

This is the last one of my little collection of this fantastic primary hybrid flowering this year. This clone has the most dowiana-like lip among my plants, with intense veination and very dark color in the lip as can be seen in the second photo below.

Those are wonderful pictures Mauro. Absolutely lovely!

I understand that there can be considerable variation in the lip veining with C. dowiana and this is also apparent between the two flowers on your plant.

How is the fragrance?

I love them both, Mauro, but my vote goes to the dowina lip. Just seems to be what this hybrid should display. A perfect way to say so long for the season.

You're right Dave, the venation variation is expected in this primary, but the extreme sides, warscewiczii-like or dowiana-like lips are not often produced.
In a word, the fragrance is captivating. All my Hardyanas are perfumed and this is one of the reasons I have so many of them.
