Thank you! The mounted ones are growing roots everywhere. These really hate to have their roots stay wet for any length of time.

I did lose three or four tiny ones after mounting, but I will defend myself by saying that I kind of let them go. If I had watered them five times a day they might have survived

Good luck and start a thread so that I can follow your progress

Haha, thank you. I might start a thread. I have a whole bunch of teeny tiny little babies and about 10-15 bigger seedlings. I'm trying to have as many grow as possible, but like you said some loss of the teeny ones is expected.

This is my favorite cattleya. I purchased a blooming sized one from Andy's a couple years ago. It blooms in the summer and lasts at least a month. Your yard will be stunning.

That's awesome, thanks for the encouragement!

Here's some pics of the mounted and potted seedlings. They are currently putting out new roots

hi,
thanks for this thread.
I'm doing a similar experience with 3 Cattleya flask, which I purchased last year during a trip to Brazil.
They are, Cattleya violacea, SLC Love Call and Cattleya Pink Doll x Schomburgkia crispa.
In May it will be a year since I deflasked them.
So they are about a year behind yours, and therefore I follow this tread with particular interest.
Thanks for the info and photos,
ciao Nicola
